Overview

The goal is to design a unique, tactile experience for fans of Highly Suspect and music memorabilia/ vinyl collectors. A limited edition vinyl box set for the band will include 5 albums with cover redesigns, a lyric book, and a vessel intended for containing and also displaying the set. Along with the set, a small but cohesive visual identity for the band will be developed.

Box Set Concept

Approach the visual design by thinking of each album as a stage in an abstract life cycle, with the last stage being rebirth.
Make designs prioritizing human imagery with textures maintaining the theme of authenticity, imperfection, and rawness.
Each album should represent a “stage” in the life cycle, and each section of the lyric book should visually reflect the themes of the associated album.

Metamorphosis Box Set

This name supplies context for the “life cycle” of Highly Suspect’s music and personal identity as well as reinforcing the theme of rebirth and flying towards the future, never forgetting the past.
